📸 Photo Scanning, Restoration & Personalized Memories

Can you restore old printed photographs?

Yes—and this is one of the services I'm particularly excited about. Old photographs can often be dramatically improved even when they have fading, scratches, dust, spots, discoloration, blur, noise, poor contrast or other age-related damage. The goal is to make the photograph look cleaner, sharper and more natural while preserving the character of the original.

Do you have to have a digital copy of my photograph?

No. If you have an old printed photograph, I can scan it and create a high-quality digital version before restoration. Your original photograph doesn't have to be altered.

What happens to my original photographs?

Your original photographs remain yours. They can be carefully scanned, restored and returned to you along with the digital files. For particularly old or irreplaceable photographs, I'll treat them with appropriate care.

Can you colorize black-and-white photographs?

Yes. Colorization can give an old black-and-white photograph a realistic modern appearance while preserving the original facial features, clothing and composition as much as possible. The objective is realistic and historically appropriate, not an overly artificial or cartoon-like appearance.

Can you repair damaged photographs?

Depending on the damage, yes. I can often improve photographs with scratches, fading, dust, discoloration, missing detail and other imperfections. However, I won't promise to recreate details that simply aren't present in the original photograph. The philosophy is restoration, not invention.

Can you restore photographs of people? What about pets?

Yes. Family portraits, childhood photographs, wedding pictures, military photographs and other personal photographs can all be candidates for restoration. I love working on pet photos and would love to restore those precious memories for you - and maybe put them on a nice coffee mug or tumbler.

Can I get my restored photographs on a thumb drive?

Yes. Digital copies can be provided so you can preserve them, share them with family members or have them printed in the future.

Can you print my restored photo?

Yes. In addition to receiving your restored digital image, I can help you turn special photographs into physical keepsakes. Depending on the project, options can include traditional photo prints, mugs, keychains and other personalized gifts.

Can you make a gift from an old family photograph?

That's one of the fun possibilities. A restored photograph can become a meaningful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Father's Day, memorials, family reunions, Christmas, grandparents, military veterans and family history projects.

Can you restore an entire box of old photographs?

Absolutely. If you have a large collection, contact me to discuss the project and determine the best way to handle the scanning, restoration and delivery of the photographs. Large collections can also be handled as custom projects.

💾 Optional Photo Backup

Can you back up my all my photographs?

Yes. I provide a triple backup solution for your cherished photographs. This is particularly important for irreplaceable family photographs. This solution assures that your photos will be accessible for future generations. I can backup entire origional photo albums and any photos you choose to have enhanced.

Can you transfer my photos to a new computer?

Yes. If you're replacing your computer, I can help move your important files and photographs to the new system.

💰 Pricing & Custom Projects

Do you have set prices for everything?

Some services have straightforward pricing, while others depend on the amount of work involved. Photo restoration, and photo preservation can vary depending on the project. I'd rather give you an honest price based on what you actually need than charge you for a package you don't need.

Can I get a custom package?

Absolutely! This is especially useful for large photo collections, multiple photo restorations. Tell me what you're trying to accomplish and we'll build the project around your needs.

Do you charge for services I don't need?

No. That's one of the advantages of working directly with a small local business. You tell me what you need. We figure out the simplest way to accomplish it. I will never try to talk you into a service or product that is not in your best interests.
